The following information applies to both the Balboa Theatre and Civic Theatre. Any specific details for the two Theatres will be noted where necessary.

Advance ticket sales for both Theatres are handled by San Diego Theatres Ticketing Services, located at Third Avenue and B Street in downtown San Diego. Advance Sales Windows are located just across the plaza from the Civic Theatre. Day-of Event Sales and Will Call windows are located at the respective Theatres—Civic Theatre at Third and B Street; Balboa Theatre at 868 Fourth Avenue.

All Balboa Theatre ticket prices include a Facility Fee. All Civic Theatre ticket prices include a Facility Restoration Fee (for an explanation of these fees, please see the FAQ page on this site).

Tickets for many Theatre performances are available first to season subscribers and group ticket purchasers, in advance of general public sales. For information on specific presenters, availability of season and group tickets and contact information, please contact Ticketing Services at (619) 570-1100.

After any season and group order fulfillment, remaining tickets for individual performances will be made available at the Advance Sale Windows and Chargeline at (619) 570-1100 or via the internet by linking through the Event Information pages on this site. Per ticket convenience charges do apply to all phone and internet transactions—amounts vary depending on event and ticket price. All tickets purchased in person, at our Advance Sale windows or Theatre event windows, are exempt from additional convenience charges.

The only authorized seller of individual tickets for San Diego Theatres events is Ticketmaster. Tickets for our events are also available through the Ticketmaster web site, or at Ticketmaster Outlets (per ticket convenience charges and order processing fees apply to all phone, internet and outlet transactions). Tickets purchased from any company, individual or web site other than the authorized sources listed above is at your own risk and San Diego Theatres cannot resolve any issues related to these "secondary" transactions.
